Welcome!

For the past eleven years, The Mockingbird Society has been an advocate, resource and a champion for our most vulnerable children, youth and famlies. By working hand-in-hand with service providers, advocates, and youth impacted by foster care, we are driving real, significant and positive reform to the child welfare system. This newly designed website is meant to be the tip of the spear that drives this reform. Here we present our past successes, our daily impact, and our vision for a future where youth in care receive the same care, support and opportunity as their peers in healthy families.

Our new site features the same resources and youth-driven content you have come to expect from The Mockingbird Society with an all-new, user-friendly design.  But this is more than just a visual upgrade, we designed this page with the intention to not only inform our community, but engage them as well. With that I would also like to welcome you to the Mockingbird Blog! Here you will find updates on The Mockingbird Society and our efforts from myself, our youth and other special guests.
