A note about current exhibitions at the Northwest African American Museum: The Emmett Till & Mamie Till-Mobley: Let the World See exhibit is currently in the exhibition hall at NAAM. The exhibition is a powerful and necessary exploration of painful history, racial reckoning, and the power of truth-telling. However, it contains sensitive content and is not recommended for children under 10. Learn more about Emmett Till's story and the exhibit here.

And in the spirit of building community and supporting partners, a portion of your kind donations will benefit next year’s Celebrate 18! – a yearly birthday party for young women who have been in foster care or kinship care in Washington state. For ten years, local nonprofit Eileen & Callie’s Place has celebrated young women aging out of foster care with all the joy, love, and pampering they deserve.
