This video blog by Yakima Mockingbird Youth Network Chapter members Yasmin Guinn and Daniel Martinez tells the story experienced by too many of the over 500 Washington state youth in foster care who "age out" of foster care at 18 every year. Our Mockingbird Youth Network believe ALL youth aging out of care deserve the opportunity to transition successfully into adulthood. They believe ALL youth deserve the opportunity for safe housing provided by the Extended Foster Care program.
